Extended Access
Service

Through collaboration with our member practices Herts Health GP Federation have been offering evening and weekend appointments since November 2018.  
 
Patients from our member practices are able to access appointments later into the evenings and at weekends. Clinics are delivered from Hertsmere practices on a rota basis. The aim is to improve access for patients who would otherwise find it difficult to attend appointments. 

Appointments offered are a mixture of telephone and face to face with GP, nurse, pharmacist and physiotherapist appointments available. A number of appointments are kept back each day for urgent bookings. 
 
Appointments are bookable via your registered practice. 

The service is currently contracted to run to March 2024
